Thanks to Helen's Harvest!

I won a prize! How cool is that?!! The prize is a beautiful necklace from the flamework artist known as Helen's Harvest. I didn't even know there was a contest. I'm so thrilled to own this masterpiece.
From Other Artist's Work
Not only is the necklace and flameworked pendant wonderful work, the packaging was delightful. It really raised a smile to open the box and find some fragrent dried flowers strewn on top of the securely wrapped necklace. Big thanks to Helen's Harvest!

Hey! I forgot to post a link to Helen -

Check Out Etsy ------------->

Hey ya'll! I've been spending the last few days photographing, measuring and writing descriptions for all my pretty little baubles so I can put them on sale in my Etsy shop.
It's the same stuff you see in my booth at the art markets but now you don't have to wait for me to set up my tent.
Mention that you heard about it in my blog and get a 10% discount. To get the discount, put "Blog Discount" in the "note to seller" section and you will receive either a refund or an invoice with the correct amount.

From Fresh From th...
Click on the image to go to the full size image at my Picasa album.
Left - Ivory Goddess - I'm still trying to get the bottoms even rounder but these ladies just don't seem to want to have really big bottoms. This Goddesses demanded rubino nipples but the color because the dots had to be so small they got pretty dark. She's still quite a lovely Lady.
Upper right - Yellow Fish - I was feeling real happy with the way this little fishy was coming out while I was working on her but was not prepared for how truly wonderful she looked when I pulled her out of the kiln this morning. I am loving these fish so much that you will surely see lots more of them from me.
Front center - Rosy the Turtle - Rosy will surely make you smile when you see her purple shell with vines of roses. I made her on a hollow so she's quite light for her size.
I've been adding new baubles to my Etsy store. I'm going to try to list daily for a while.
And don't forget - if you see something you like in my blog or my Picasa album just give me a shout out to hold it for you. If you're local I can bring to my next market. If you're further we can make arrangements to ship it.
My next market is The Arts Market of New Orleans, Saturday, July 26, 2008, 10 am to 4 pm, Palmer Park, S. Carrollton and S. Claiborne Aves in Uptown. I hope to see ya there.

Fresh From the Flames

From Fresh From th...
From the top left - Pale emerald heart, 2 Cross My Happy Heart beads, Ocean Swirls focal and 2 spacers (can be found on sale at Etsy), pale emerald bead cap with roses and irises, lotsa spacers in lemon yellow and pale amethyst and a Fleur di Lis lentil bead.
I think I might have come to the end of this "Happy Heart" series. I wasn't real happy with the last several attempts. Someone else saw them and loved them, so maybe it's just me being too critical. Or maybe just bored with these colors. I am really liking that pale emerald and pale amethyst. The aqua and uranium yellow of the Ocean Swirls series makes me feel good, too.
Happy Spring and Flame On!

New Etsy Shop!

Yay! I finally got my Etsy shop started. I only have one item in it so far but will try to add something new every few days. I am more than willing to take requests, too. So if you've seen something in my Picasa Gallery that you like, please leave a comment with a description of the item and I will be sure to put it in my Etsy store. This was fun but I think I'll rather - Flame On!
